2016 HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE…

Spirit of Toronto welcomes tequila guru Ian Chadwick to this year's show. Ian is well known among tequila aficionados as the host and author of The Blue Agave Forum, and he'll be on hand to educate guests on the art of agave spirits with a specially curated selection of tequilas and mezcals that rival the best whiskies.

This year’s Spirit of Toronto will see the launch of DISTILLED, our new print magazine celebrating the craft and culture of fine spirits, and guests will have the opportunity to explore our inaugural issue alongside some of its featured spirits. A new world of taste awaits—are you ready?

Spirit of Toronto is excited to once again showcase the finest whiskies and premium spirits from around the world!

Since 2004 this spectacular event has become a ‘must’ on the food & drink calendar: a selection of 100 plus whiskies and premium spirits, tutored tastings courtesy of the Spirit of Toronto Masterclass Series, live jazz, a gourmet table d’hôte, and our dedicated cocktail loft under the glass canopy of Roy Thomson Hall’s mezzanine level.

Admission is $165 and includes all samples courtesy of exhibitors, a Blender’s Malt Whisky Glass, access to tutored tastings, a hot and cold table d’hote, food and drink pairings, and the opportunity to taste and learn with brand ambassadors, distillery representatives and industry professionals.

Spirit of Toronto welcomes the return of Angus MacRaild, antique whisky specialist, as he presents a tasting and lesson in American whiskey that spans the last 100 years, from pre-Prohibition to the present.

Lovers of bold, rustic flavours are in for a treat as this year's Spirit of Toronto shines the spotlight on armagnac, a 700-year old distilling tradition that has changed little over the centuries.
