Our first all-VIP edition
Thank you for twenty years of sips, memories, laughter, education, spirited geekery and general bonhomie.
Thank you for making Spirit of Toronto a world-class event with a reputation for excellence, connoisseurship, and liquid treasures.
And thank you for joining us once again on Saturday May 3.
Tickets go on sale this Monday March 31 at 10:00am through Roy Thomson Hall’s box office — click for tickets.
Fewer crowds. Less rushing. More whisky.
And to all those who completed our post-show survey in 2024 – thank you for providing your feedback and helping us to craft our way forward.
We hear you. We’ve got you. Fewer crowds. Less rushing. More whisky.
To this end, we’ve reset our compass in 2025 to present our first all-VIP edition: a more intimate event on one level with ample space to explore a genuinely ‘curated’ selection of whisky (& more) — and with masterclasses held exclusively before the main showcase, leaving more time for you to sip, taste and repeat at a leisurely pace.
Half a century in one glass.
Process, craft, heritage: we’ve gone to considerable lengths to program masterclasses that befit the high bar we’ve set for this year’s show.
Certainly it doesn’t hurt that Spirit of Toronto is hosting the only public tasting of Benromach 50 Year Old in Canada, one of 248 decanters that retails for more than $30,000. If there’s a more indulgent way to start your evening please let us know, though you can’t go wrong with any of the sessions being presented — click to view our Masterclass Series.
And with our masterclasses now scheduled from 5pm to 6pm, guests are guaranteed to enjoy an additional 30 minutes of Early Admission ahead of the main doors opening at 6:30pm, ideally timed for those of you keen for the first taste of The Dalmore 25 Year Old or the Tamnavulin 1979.
These rare pours and exclusive sessions will be in high demand — space is limited, so we encourage you to book quickly and make the most of what promises to be a truly memorable start to your evening.
